tripto.kr exists because getting a straight answer about visiting Korea is harder than it should be.

Why

Travelling to a country you don't know means a scavenger hunt: which transit card to buy, whether the place you planned around is closed that day, what to pack, what to watch out for. The answers exist, scattered across videos, forums and half-current advice in a language you may not read. You end up piecing it together from five sources and still arriving unsure.

tripto.kr's aim is that you shouldn't have to research Korea in order to visit it — a manual clear enough to just follow, and the things around it that a traveller actually needs.

What's here

• The Manual — followable guides: entry and K-ETA, staying connected, transit cards, money.
• Events — festivals, concerts and pop-up stores, collected from official sources every four hours.
• Trip Plans — build a day-by-day itinerary and share it with whoever you're travelling with.
• Meet Up — drop a pin, see who else is around.
• Community — tips from people who have been.

Who

A personal project by one developer in Korea, built in the open. It isn't a company and has no staff. Corrections are genuinely welcome — if something here is wrong, it is worth more to hear about it than to have it quietly stay wrong.
